Equal opportunities for disadvantaged people in local communities in Kenya,
International Fellowship of Kenya's vision of equal opportunities for disadvantaged people in local communities in Kenya was born in Settle Washington. Mr. Walter Okech Ajowi the founding Director was then a student in the USA at the time. Implementation of this vision started upon Mr. Ajowi's return to set up the first International Fellowship of Kenya center on the 9th floor, Wing A on then Kenya National Assurance House, now Varsity Plaza.
Networking Strength for Productivity
Networking Strength for Productivity in reaching out to disadvantaged members of different local communities with the love of Christ began in earnest with the establishment of INTERFELK Centre. INTERFELK made available the first Christian counseling center and the first private computer training institution in Kisumu, Western Kenya. INTERFELK is also the first indigenous locally well managed Christian Ministry outside mainstream Churches in the region.
